Add some way to identify folders with the same name

In my filing system, I have folders that have the same name like "Status" under different hierarchys. For example:
[b]Root > Client 1 > Status[/b] and [b]Root > Client 2 > Status[/b]. If Xiant suggests one of these similar folders in the Quick Action button, I have the tooltip to make sure it goes into the right folder. However if Xiant suggests a different folder for the Quick Action, then we have no way if the "Status" folder suggested in the other filing buttons are the correct one.

The beta version of Xiant Filer has so far proven to be a very helpful tool - it does save me a lot of time.

I have however discovered a common task for me which currently is not supported and actually takes away the nice filing feature. Many times I want to:

1. Move the email to a specific folder
2. Reply to the email (This will also save my reply in the specific folder due to my Outlook settings.)

Therefore a Move and Reply button would be most welcome. Note however that move has to be done first so my reply is saved in the specified folder.

I have an idea for you

I REALLY like what you guys are doing here, and i am on board with you all the way!! i wish there was a way i could be in with you guys, but i will still give you my ideas, and if you want, i can even make some of my own ideas and send them to you, i program in the C++ lingo, but anyway, here is my first idea, i really think you guys should bulid support for Windows Live Mail, because alot of people like me use it, and it would be very convient to get the mail sorted for me. I hope to hear back from someone soon!!! i would really liked to get involved!! and by the way, i love your first product's goals, its really uniqe and will definetly make a killing!!

add "auto filing by sender" to toolbar

subject says it all. would be nice to have once click to start off with all the auto filing by sender rules. maybe after i'm all done, be able to remove that button from the toolbar from some sort of customization option it has. I can't use auto filing by sender yet (bug i already sent in); but i know it will be handy to have it one click a way when i do!

expand auto filing by sender to include email subject

I would like the ability to be able to use the auto filing (including the delay) per sender and per subject..

I dont' necessarily want it to be strictly based on the sender address; this is useful for me for some automated emails i get for server/network monitoring. Some of the sender addresses are the same, but the content of the emails are different along with the subject. Maybe a method to match text found in the subject along with the sender address for a particular filing rule.

There is a big benefit for me to have a delay in filings for these emails as i expect others would enjoy this expanded enhancement to filing as well.

Feature Ideas: Wildcards, SubTopics, & Create New Folders

I am an IT Professional, and I will regularly have two types of topics that I am affected by: problem tickets and new development projects. Both are usually referred to by a code or ticket number (e.g. Ticket 123456, ABC 100, DEF 123, etc...).

One of the problems I have with simple filtering is that not everyone will use exactly the same formatting. (e.g. Ticket #123456, #123456, 123456, ABC#100, ABC-100, DEF123, DEF #123, etc...)

I would like to see functionality that would allow me to:

Define a Wildcard based rule so that I can keep all threads/posts for a ticket or project together easily
Define a rule that can infer a new Subtopic or prompt to create a new folder if a match isn't made. In other words, if I have a folder/topic called "Tickets" and a new ticket is received I will be able to easily create a new folder or sub topic based on the defined rule.
Be able to link a single post to multiple folders/topics. A good example of this is a "status report" type message that refers to multiple tickets or projects.

Pls add option to set Categories instead of moving the emails to folders

Hi,

I stopped moving emails around for a while because it was always a nightmare to deal with mails to different aliases and where an email should be stored. I moved to a single Inbox system. I use filters as I used to, but instead of moving mails I assign categories/labels. I create search/virtual folders based on Categories/labels. The Xiant Filer could be also very useful in this environment if it would allow to set Categories as action.
